WDA Studio

The site is situated on the southern coastline, offering incredible views of Fin Rock Island and Rangitoto Island. The design prioritizes various spatial experiences and comfort within a relatively simple design language. This project is best understood as one that draws inspiration from the surrounding environment, enabling occupants to immerse themselves fully in their surroundings, maximizing the sea views from as many spaces as possible. As occupants move down the long deck, the wind strengthens, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings.
